From Desert to Coast in no time.

After our Las Vegas desert adventure we drove towards the West and reached a small touristy and expensive place by the name of Santa Barbara. This very picturesque town seems to be the non-plus-ultra in tourist spots, it was neat you have to give it to this place, but all too fine for me though. This is our starting point for Highway number 1, our way to go and the goal for the next few days before we head out of CA and into Texas :)

Tonight we reached Cambria, and this is a completely different place in contrast to last night: small, little shops and diners around, all relaxed in its own way; and the nature around is breathtaking. This is like Scotland, only with a lot of sunshine :) We even were lucky to catch the rare occasional foggy fog fog clouds coming in; lets see if they have disappeared by tomorrow.

We'll be heading for Big Sur tomorrow. And then we try to see the elephant seals sunbathing.

Stay tuned... Countdown : T - 4 days
